Training

To be able to drive a professional vehicle you must pass a few exams and undergo training. Exams

As per directive 2003/59/EC bus drivers (categories D1, D1E, D) or tractor trailer, truck or commercial vehicle drivers (categories C1, C1E, C, CE) who provide transport services on a regular basis are required to take the training of Code 95. After the formal training of 35 lectures is finalised and a certificate or licence of Code 95 is issued which is valid for 5 years. This permits drivers to operate commercially within the European Union for both goods and passengers.

The Code 95 training consists of two parts that are theory and practice. Through theory you will learn to operate a tachograph, the driver's rights and responsibilities and first aid, the process for passing customs inspections and much more. Additionally, you will receive a thorough instruction at the driving school. This includes driving on the site coupled and decoupling tractor and city driving.
